Terapage is looking for a talented Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in the MERN stack to join our remote engineering team based in Pakistan. In this full-time, permanent role, you will play a vital part in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that improve user experiences across diverse industries. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN stack).
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services including OpenAI, Agora, Dropbox, and AWS S3.
- Create responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces that enhance user engagement.
- Architect, test, and maintain backend logic and data structures to ensure robustness and performance.
- Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams during sprint cycles and product releases.
- Write and maintain clear, comprehensive product and API documentation.
- Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s collective knowledge and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer working extensively with the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
- Solid understanding of API design, RESTful principles, and authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS S3, Vercel, or similar environments.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control systems and agile development methodologies.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive web design techniques.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
