GROWTH MARKETING MANAGER
Growth & Customer Acquisition Manager — HVAC & Electrical
We are looking for an independent Growth Marketing Manager who will take ownership of the company's entire marketing function: strategy, paid and organic channels, content, and analytics. The primary result of this role is new customers, collected revenue, and profit. Not posts, not impressions, not reports
Compensation is a percentage of the revenue generated by the marketing system you build. There is no income cap.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
============================================================
Someone who thinks like an entrepreneur and treats every company advertising dollar as their own. Someone who understands marketing, sales, and unit economics. You develop the plan, you execute it, you shut down what does not work and scale what does. You do not wait for instructions.
Technically, this is a strong generalist who uses AI to cover the workload that previously required several separate specialists: performance, SEO, content, video, and analytics.
============================================================
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
============================================================
Overall practical experience in digital / growth marketing: 5+ years, including at least 2 years independently developing and executing growth strategy.
By area:
- Performance marketing and customer acquisition with responsibility for budget and results: 3+ years
- Google Ads — independently managing campaigns and budgets: 3+ years
- SEO and Local SEO (preferably for local service businesses): 3+ years
- Google Business Profile / Google Maps: 3+ years
- Marketing analytics, tracking, attribution, ROAS / CAC / CPL: 3+ years
- Meta / Instagram Ads and short-form content: 2+ years
- Video marketing, YouTube, content production: 2+ years
- Yelp and other local lead-gen platforms: preferably 2+ years
- AI tools in marketing (research, copy, image/video generation, automation): 2+ years, or demonstrated advanced ability with fewer years
Years alone are not what matters. The candidate must show concrete results from previous projects: budget, leads, CAC, ROAS, sales, and collected revenue. See the Proof of Experience section below.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
============================================================
1. STRATEGY AND GROWTH PLAN
Independently analyze the market and competitors, develop a customer acquisition plan, present it to management, and execute it. The plan covers every channel (SEO, Google Maps, Google Ads, Meta, Yelp, YouTube, content, referrals, partnerships, existing customer base marketing), new territories, locations, and services, as well as targets for CPL, CAC, conversion rate, average ticket, ROAS, and profitability.
2. MAXIMUM RESULTS WITH MINIMUM BUDGET
Increasing the advertising budget is not a strategy. Before asking for more ad spend, the manager must look for growth elsewhere: improve the offer, creatives, and landing pages; raise conversion rate and lead quality; reduce CPL and CAC; grow organic traffic, average ticket, repeat business, and referrals.
The long-term objective is marketing assets (Google Maps, SEO, content, reviews, customer base) that bring in customers without advertising costs growing proportionally.
3. PAID CHANNELS
Google Ads. Building and auditing campaigns; Search, Remarketing, Performance Max, and YouTube Ads when economically justified. Keyword management, negative keywords, search term analysis, ad copy, landing pages, conversion and call tracking, A/B testing of offers. Optimization for CPL, CAC, ROAS, and profit — not clicks.
Meta / Instagram. Strategy, original creatives, Reels, Stories, testing audiences, offers, and messaging, campaign management, organic reach growth. Every piece of content has a purpose: Attention → Trust → Lead → Customer → Revenue.
Yelp. Profiles for real locations, optimization, review responses, Yelp Ads only when the economics work. If the channel does not deliver customers at an acceptable cost, the manager recommends reducing or reallocating the budget.
4. ORGANIC CHANNELS
SEO. Strategy, technical audit, keyword and competitor research, service pages and legitimate city / service-area pages, site structure, SEO content, internal linking, backlinks, indexing and ranking monitoring. Success is measured not by the number of pages, but by calls, customers, and revenue from organic search.
Google Business Profile / Google Maps. Creating and verifying profiles only for real locations in compliance with Google requirements, full optimization, regular updates, photos and videos, a legitimate strategy for growing the quantity and quality of reviews, review responses, local ranking and competitor analysis. Each profile is a separate channel with its own tracking of calls, leads, and revenue.
YouTube. An educational channel and a long-term asset: concepts, scripts, Shorts, AI video, voice-over, editing, project and educational videos. Not treated as a source of quick ROI.
5. CONTENT
Content from every project. Every completed job is a marketing asset. We need a system that turns real projects into before / after content, Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, case studies, and content for GBP, the website, SEO, and ad creatives. One project — multiple pieces of content for multiple platforms, using AI for speed and lower cost.
Educational content. The company should become a source of useful information for homeowners: why an air conditioner is not cooling, repair vs. replace, how to choose a heat pump, how equipment is sized, when an electrical panel upgrade is needed, why permits and inspections matter, how to compare contractor estimates, what not to save money on. The chain: Educate → Build Trust → Create Demand → Generate Leads → Generate Revenue. A person may not be looking for anything today — but when they need us, they will remember us.
Viral content. Systematically create and test material people want to share: unusual HVAC and electrical problems, breakdowns of bad installations, contractor and homeowner mistakes, myths, equipment comparisons, experiments, answers to common questions. Nobody can guarantee every video goes viral — the job is systematic work on ideas with high reach potential.
Our content must be different. Thousands of contractors publish the same thing: "Call us for all your HVAC needs." We do not need that. The constant question: why would someone watch our content? It must be original, useful, easy for a homeowner to understand, visually recognizable, and interesting even to someone who is not buying anything right now. The goal is our own media style and brand voice.
6. AI AS A WORKING TOOL
Professional use of modern AI tools for research and competitor analysis, copywriting, image and video generation, editing, AI avatars and voice-over, scripts, creatives, landing pages, SEO analysis, content repurposing, analytics, and automation. AI makes production faster and cheaper, but it does not replace strategic thinking, originality, fact-checking, or responsibility for results.
7. ANALYTICS AND FULL-FUNNEL RESPONSIBILITY
The manager owns the entire customer journey:
Strategy → Attention → Lead → Appointment → Customer → Sale → Payment → Collected Revenue
To do this, they build and maintain attribution: CRM, call tracking, unique phone numbers, conversion and website tracking, Google Analytics, tracking across Google Ads, GBP, Yelp, Meta, YouTube, and landing pages. The company must know the source of every customer.
A report like "Google Ads generated 100 leads" is not enough. We want to see:
Marketing Spend → Leads → Qualified Leads → Appointments → Customers → Sales → Collected Revenue → Profit
If there are leads but no customers, the manager finds exactly where the funnel breaks (traffic quality, offer, website, response time, call handling, qualification, scheduling, sales, pricing, follow-up) and proposes a measurable solution.
============================================================
KPI
============================================================
New and qualified leads, new customers, CPL, CAC, Lead → Customer conversion rate, jobs sold, average ticket, collected revenue, ROAS, Marketing ROI, profitability, organic acquisition growth.
The number of posts, videos, views, impressions, and clicks is not the final result.
On ROAS: $10,000 in advertising → $50,000 in collected revenue = ROAS 5x. But ROAS alone does not equal profit. The manager accounts for job costs, gross margin, CAC, refunds, chargebacks, and all marketing expenses. The goal is not an impressive number, but profitable growth.
============================================================
COMPENSATION
============================================================
The primary model is a percentage of revenue actually collected by the company from new customers that can be objectively attributed to marketing channels created or managed by the Growth Marketing Manager. There is no income cap: the company earns more → the manager earns more.
Commission is paid only on money the company has actually received. Not included: unsigned and unpaid estimates, unpaid invoices, canceled jobs, refunds and chargebacks, existing customers without a confirmed new source, personal referrals outside the marketing system, repeat business (unless separately agreed).
Customer source is confirmed through CRM, call tracking, unique phone numbers, website tracking, platforms (Google Ads, GBP, Yelp, Meta, YouTube), landing pages, and other pre-agreed attribution systems.
============================================================
PROOF OF EXPERIENCE
============================================================
During selection, the candidate must show real projects with numbers: what business, the starting situation, budget, number of leads and customers, CPL, CAC, ROAS, collected revenue, which organic channels were built, what did not work and why, and what the candidate did personally.
"I increased brand awareness" and "I managed social media" are not proof of experience. The format: Problem → Action → Numbers → Result.
============================================================
WHO THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR
============================================================
Anyone who measures success by the number of posts, clicks, and impressions; solves every problem by increasing the budget; does not work with analytics; waits for instructions and avoids decisions; is not ready to own a measurable result; does not use AI professionally; produces the same generic content as every other contractor; cannot explain how their work turns into customers, revenue, and profit.
============================================================
CORE PRINCIPLE
============================================================
The Growth Marketing Manager can answer at any moment: how much we spent, how many qualified leads and new customers we got, what one customer cost, how much revenue they brought, which channels are profitable, what to scale, what to shut down — and how to get more customers without proportionally increasing the budget.
The job is to build a marketing system that over time becomes stronger, more recognizable, more organic, cheaper, and more profitable.
The ultimate result: the maximum number of profitable customers with the minimum necessary marketing budget.
