Vairt Inc. is looking for an experienced General Manager – Hospitality to remotely oversee its U.S.-based hospitality operations from the Lahore office. This role requires full accountability for managing overseas hospitality teams, ensuring operational excellence, enhancing guest experiences, monitoring property performance, coordinating vendors, controlling costs, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in hospitality operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple U.S. properties and teams virtually through structured systems and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Take complete operational ownership of Vairt’s U.S. hospitality portfolio from Pakistan. Manage, supervise, and coordinate U.S.-based hospitality and property teams virtually, ensuring clear accountability and daily execution. Develop and maintain operational SOPs, service standards, checklists, workflows, and performance benchmarks. Oversee daily property operations including guest services, reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, check-in/check-out, and issue resolution. Ensure consistent, high-quality guest experiences and service delivery across all managed properties. Monitor guest feedback, complaints, response times, and satisfaction levels, implementing corrective measures as needed.
Coordinate with U.S.-based property managers, staff, contractors, vendors, and service providers to maintain operational efficiency. Track occupancy rates, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), revenue performance, and operating expenses. Collaborate with revenue, sales, marketing, finance, and property teams to optimize occupancy, revenue, cost efficiency, and overall performance. Regularly review operational and financial reports, providing management with updates, insights, and action plans. Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, service failures, and revenue opportunities, taking timely corrective action.
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, procurement, maintenance coordination, and follow-ups. Ensure properties remain guest-ready, well-maintained, compliant with company standards, and operationally efficient. Develop staffing plans, monitor team productivity, attendance, performance, training, and accountability. Conduct regular virtual meetings with U.S. teams and maintain structured reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly bases. Handle escalated guest, operational, vendor, and property issues promptly and effectively. Coordinate with U.S. stakeholders and management across time zones as required. Maintain strong communication between Pakistan management and U.S. hospitality operations. Utilize hospitality technology, PMS, booking platforms, communication tools, and reporting dashboards efficiently. Continuously improve operational processes, service quality, guest satisfaction, profitability, and scalability. Support the expansion and standardization of Vairt’s U.S. hospitality portfolio.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field. Minimum five years of relevant hospitality or hotel operations experience in leadership roles such as General Manager, Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, or Property Manager. Strong practical understanding of U.S. hospitality/hotel operations is highly preferred. Proven experience managing hospitality teams and property operations remotely or virtually. Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, reservations, revenue management, and vendor coordination. Proficiency with PMS, OTA/booking platforms, hospitality management systems, and operational reporting tools. Strong grasp of hospitality KPIs, revenue management, cost control, occupancy management, and guest satisfaction metrics. Excellent English communication, leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and team management skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple U.S. operations simultaneously, and maintain accountability through remote management. Strong analytical, organizational, reporting, and decision-making abilities.
Compensation and Work Details
The salary range for this position is PKR 130,000 to 150,000 per month (non-negotiable). The work schedule is Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
