Generator Technician

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician with 3 to 4 years of practical experience specializing in the installation, overhauling, and troubleshooting of diesel generators rated 20 KVA and above. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and efficient installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of generators in accordance with established technical standards. This role involves regular site visits to address customer complaints, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions. Accurate documentation through Field Service Reports (FSR) after each service visit is a critical part of the job. The position is based on-site and offers a competitive monthly salary.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of diesel generators (20 KVA and above) following technical specifications and safety guidelines.
- Conduct overhauling and troubleshooting activities to ensure generators operate at optimal performance levels.
- Attend customer sites promptly to inspect equipment, diagnose issues, and resolve complaints efficiently.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive Field Service Reports (FSR) after each visit to maintain accurate service records.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience working with diesel generators, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel generator systems, components, and operational procedures.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently during site visits, and handle multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
