We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting a variety of data into our systems. This role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Word, as well as excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Inputting alphanumeric data into databases, spreadsheets, and other electronic formats with precision and speed.
- Verifying the accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents and correcting any errors.
- Organizing and maintaining files and records, both electronic and physical.
- Generating reports from databases and spreadsheets as needed.
- Assisting with data cleanup and quality control initiatives.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Following company procedures and protocols for data management and security.
- Adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively to meet project requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data entry or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Word, with the ability to navigate and utilize advanced features.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with data entry software and systems is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or related fields are desirable.
