Project Site Engineer (Civil) – Islamabad

The incumbent will be responsible for organizing comprehensive site records including attendance, material receipts, site instructions, and inspection registers, as well as producing progress reports to keep stakeholders fully informed. The engineer serves as a point of professional communication for client representatives, addressing issues, coordinating decisions, and ensuring all work conforms to contract drawings and quality requirements. Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and AutoCAD supports effective site management and reporting. Based in Islamabad or able to commute daily, the ideal candidate exemplifies integrity and professionalism while contributing to GoodWill Constructions legacy of delivering high-end residential developments in prestigious sectors of the city.
Responsibilities

Organize and maintain a safe, efficient, and well-laid-out site environment for materials and work areas.
Prepare and update two-week look-ahead schedules, continuously tracking and reporting progress against targets.
Coordinate daily activities involving contractors, labor forces, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
Accurately prepare Bills of Quantities from project drawings and perform precise quantity take-offs and on-site measurements.
Monitor executed quantities relative to the BOQ and promptly identify and report any variations or discrepancies.
Complete and process all material and work requisition forms systematically and maintain comprehensive site registers.
Maintain detailed and organized site files and records, including attendance, materials, site instructions, visitor logs, and inspection registers.
Prepare regular daily and weekly progress updates for internal review and detailed monthly reports for client communication.
Ensure all construction work complies strictly with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Identify, document, and close out all snags and quality issues in a timely manner.
Maintain professional communication with client representatives regarding progress, issues, and decision-making.
Demonstrate exemplary professional conduct representing GoodWill Construction in all client and stakeholder interactions.
