The Web Developer operates under minimal supervision and does not manage a team but collaborates with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Responsibilities include refining site performance, debugging, testing, and integrating AI capabilities to streamline the user experience and improve bidding operations. Strong expertise in version control and modern development best practices will support ongoing site improvements and reliable deployments.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and develop new features on the existing auction website to improve functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the website consistently meets responsive web design standards across devices.
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools where appropriate to automate processes and improve the bidding system performance.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging using established tools to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Optimize website performance by implementing best practices in web performance optimization and page speed improvements.
- Maintain version control and manage codebase updates using GitHub to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Analyze user feedback and website analytics to continually refine the site and address usability concerns.
- Keep up to date with the latest web technologies, trends, and tools to ensure the auction site remains competitive and secure.
- Work independently within project guidelines and collaborate effectively with the companys stakeholders to deliver project goals.
