Welder/ Steel fabricator

Haider Ironcraft seeks an experienced Welder/Steel Fabricator to join their team at the Kahna Nau Lahore location. The ideal candidate specializes in welding and fabricating iron and steel components such as doors, grills, gates, and other structural elements. This full-time position requires precision in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding, as well as skills in cutting, grinding, and fitting metal parts. The role involves working primarily in a workshop environment with occasional site visits for installation tasks. Candidates should demonstrate strong work ethics, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness on the job. With a minimum of five years of relevant experience, the candidate will contribute to the efficient production of iron and steel fabrications following project specifications. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, the candidate is expected to collaborate effectively with other team members and adhere to project timelines strictly. Responsibilities
Fabricate and weld iron and steel components including doors, grills, and gates using MIG, TIG, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding techniques.
Cut, grind, and fit metal parts accurately according to technical drawings and project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans to ensure precise manufacturing.
Prepare and maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Conduct installation of fabricated items at the job site when required, ensuring proper fitting and secure assembly.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to safety guidelines and performing routine housekeeping.
Coordinate with other fabrication and installation staff to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure all work is completed to customer and company standards.
Troubleshoot welding defects and structural issues during fabrication and installation phases.
Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements related to welding and fabrication processes.
