Job PurposeThe Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of healthcare-related equipment and systems to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and high-quality service delivery. The role supports operational efficiency by maintaining equipment performance in compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Duties 1. Installation & SetupInstall and test massage chairs, treadmills and other fitness equipment, machines, and systems at onsite, kiosks, branches.
Ensure proper configuration of equipment as per company guidelines.
Provide basic operational guidance to users after installation.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Check technical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Replace defective parts and components using approved tools and spare parts.
Maintain service logs and maintenance records for all assigned equipment.
Respond promptly to technical complaints and breakdown calls.
Identify root causes of technical issues and propose effective corrective actions.
Ensure all technical work complies with ZERO Healthcare policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Follow infection control, electrical safety, and workplace health & safety protocols.
Ensure equipment performance meets quality standards and operational specifications.
Assist in managing tools, spare parts, and technical inventory.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of company tools and equipment.
Support physical verification of technical assets when required.
Coordinate with operations, admin, warehouse, and customer service teams for smooth service delivery.
Support emergency technical tasks and after-hours maintenance as required.
Assist in training junior technicians or helpers when assigned.
Diploma or Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
1–3 years of relevant technical experience (Healthcare, medical equipment, water systems, or related industry preferred)
