A reputable local organization is launching a project in Balochistan focused on enhancing leadership skills and economic resilience among women and marginalized groups, including transgender persons, minorities, and women with disabilities. The initiative involves conducting eight intensive one-day capacity-building trainings for 200 participants. These sessions will cover leadership and self-advocacy, understanding leadership roles at various levels, rights awareness (including economic, social, gender, and disability/transgender-inclusive rights), economic resilience, financial literacy basics, risk management, and decision-making within households, communities, and local initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate training sessions in Urdu or local languages using participatory and experiential methods such as group exercises, role-playing, case studies, and peer mentoring.
- Guide participants to develop practical individual or collective action plans by the end of each training to apply their newly acquired skills in household, community, or economic settings.
- Provide follow-up support through WhatsApp groups or community check-ins to reinforce learning and monitor progress.
- Coordinate community-level arrangements, including participant management, venue setup, and basic logistics, in collaboration with the project team.
- Ensure adherence to donor standards and the organization’s training methodology, emphasizing safeguarding and inclusion principles.
- Maintain accurate daily attendance records of participants.
- Prepare detailed event reports summarizing training outcomes and participant engagement.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience in training, preferably in leadership, economics, livelihoods, or economic empowerment programs.
- Proven track record of conducting community-level training sessions with women and marginalized groups.
- Experience working with transgender persons, minorities, and persons with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to design participatory and experiential training methodologies, including action-planning exercises.
Duration and Deliverables
The assignment consists of eight one-day trainings held in Quetta, Balochistan, with approximately 25 participants per session. Deliverables include submission of a training plan, daily attendance sheets, participant action plans, and a comprehensive final training report. The total duration of the assignment is 15 days.

All personnel must comply with the organization’s Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy.
