The Institute of Innovation & Professional Development is looking for a dynamic Trainer Project Engineer who will be responsible for conducting comprehensive technical training sessions and executing various industrial automation and control projects. This role requires an individual with both robust technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively lead both classroom-based and practical lab training. As a crucial member of our team, the Trainer Project Engineer will support the design, programming, installation, and troubleshooting of automation systems. While you will not be managing a team, you will serve as a key resource for trainees, engineers, and clients, ensuring that all training activities are delivered efficiently and meet industry standards.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on training sessions focusing on PLCs (Siemens, Delta, ABB, Rockwell, etc.), HMI, SCADA, VFDs, DCS, and Instrumentation.
  • Deliver structured training modules tailored for students, engineers, and professionals across various skill levels.
  • Customize training content to align with specific industry requirements and client needs, ensuring participants gain practical and relevant knowledge.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of lab setups and training simulators to provide realistic training environments.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and track trainees' progress, offering guidance and support to aid in certification processes.
  • Participate in project engineering tasks such as the design, programming, installation, and commissioning of automation systems and industrial control panels.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough project documentation including wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with industries in the deployment of automation solutions while providing necessary after-training support.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards in all technical installations and tasks undertaken.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the sales and business development team during client proposal efforts.
  • Engage in technical events, university workshops, and client demonstrations to showcase training capabilities and establish professional relationships.
  • Maintain training equipment, software licenses, and troubleshoot any lab-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
