Momentum Logistics seeks an Assistant Manager Finance having a Master of Commerce degree or equivalent certification such as ACCA/ACMA and brings 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the logistics sector. This role requires a detail-oriented finance professional skilled in ledger management, cash flow oversight, and financial analysis to help streamline and enhance the companys financial processes without direct team management responsibilities. The Assistant Manager Finance works closely with various internal departments, customers, and vendors to monitor and resolve financial discrepancies, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and oversee month-end closing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day finance operations ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial tasks and support to the finance team.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other outstanding balances, including liaising with relevant teams, customers, and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
- Support month-end closing activities, prepare accurate financial reports, and contribute to management reporting for informed decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external customers, vendors, and stakeholders to address and resolve finance-related matters efficiently.
- Identify gaps in finance processes and work collaboratively to improve and automate financial reporting and operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and maintain accuracy in general ledger accounting and cash flow management.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to provide realistic financial plans aligned with company objectives.
- Perform additional finance-related tasks and assignments as required by Interloop Holdings to support organizational goals.
