iShine Webhouse is looking for a diligent Junior Accountant to join our finance team and assist in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will support financial record-keeping and reporting functions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves detailed tasks such as recording financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts under the guidance of senior accountants. The Junior Accountant also plays a key role in preparing financial documents necessary for audits and tax filings.
The position requires someone with strong numerical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software tools. The Junior Accountant will manage a small team of three individuals, supporting collaborative completion of financial tasks and contributing to continuous process improvements. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with 0 to 2 years of accounting experience who are eager to develop their expertise in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Record and maintain all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Prepare journal entries and update ledger accounts to reflect financial activities.
- Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized financial records and document all transactions clearly for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate in audit preparation and provide necessary documents and explanations during tax assessments.
