•   Ensuring compliance of procedures set in the Fixed Assets Manual while movement or disposal of assets.
  •   Preparation of Fixed Assets and control assets registers. Along with keeping in record tag forms, photocopies of invoices, disposal forms and technical reports of assets while in case of disposal reporting to management.
  •   Keeping record of all the movement of fixed assets and updating fixed assets register with all inward and outward movements (both temporary and permanent).
  •   Generating Tag codes for all the fixed assets procurements at country office and all the field or area offices.
  •   Physically verify the fixed assets present at each location of the Islamic Relief.
  •   To reconcile fixed assets register with physical existence and ledgers maintained by finance and advice finance for any adjustment.
  •   Procurement of Fixed Assets as per IR guidelines.
  •   Timely prepare auction list and ensure minimum inventory level of obsolete
  •   Ensure preparation & record management of documentation related to fixed asset acquisitions, handling and dispose of so that may accessed by relevant individuals as & when needed.
  •   Coordinate with internal (Line Manager, Finance Manager, APMs, Department heads, sector leads at CO) & Auditors, Area/Field SC team for efficient and effective management of fixed assets and records

Person Specification

It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its SEAH (sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. We have zero tolerance policy towards SEAH and doesn’t support any action that promote or encourage SEAH.

Qualification:

Graduate level accounting degree

 Experience:

Minimum experience of similar role in NGO setup:

1 Year relevant experience with Master’s Degree and/or 2 years with Bachelor degree

Computer Skills:

MS Office applications, ERP systems familiarity

Language:

Urdu, English and local languages

  • Able to work under extreme conditions in field areas.
