ISX is seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with at least two years of proven experience in building and maintaining high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working across the entire MERN stack, which includes MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities and a dedication to writing clean, efficient code. The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences and scalable backend solutions. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred but not mandatory.
This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently within a dynamic development environment. The successful candidate will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying feature-rich web applications, ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance. The developer will take ownership of code quality, adhere to best practices, and actively participate in code reviews and version control management using Git.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend functionality and ensure seamless data communication.
- Write well-structured, reusable, and efficient JavaScript code following ES6+ standards.
- Implement responsive web design principles to create applications that provide excellent user experiences across devices and screen sizes.
- Manage application state using frontend state management libraries and strategies to ensure data consistency and optimal performance.
- Use React Router and related libraries to create dynamic, client-side routed single-page applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional, polished interfaces.
- Maintain version control using Git and participate actively in code reviews to uphold code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate relevant tools and practices to improve development processes and application robustness.
