Pakistan State Oil (PSO), the largest energy company in Pakistan, is offering a valuable experiential learning opportunity for emerging talent. This program is designed to provide participants with structured learning, hands-on project experience, continuous feedback, and the support of experienced colleagues. It aims to enhance career growth and professional development within a dynamic and challenging environment. The training period lasts for two years and is based in Karachi and Faisalabad, providing a platform to gain practical knowledge in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
Participants will engage in various projects that involve applying programming concepts such as algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming. They will utilize data analysis techniques and tools to support decision-making processes. Additionally, trainees will be responsible for performing general IT support tasks, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. The role requires active learning and collaboration with team members to contribute effectively to ongoing projects.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institute or an equivalent foreign degree. A minimum CGPA of 3.00 is required. Applicants should have up to one year of experience and be no older than 30 years at the time of application. Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, data analysis, and IT support is essential. The position is open to candidates based in Karachi.
