Qualification: BS Chemistry (mandatory)
Job Description: The Lab Assistant will support laboratory operations related to the testing, analysis, and quality control of various chemicals and associated raw materials. The role involves conducting routine chemical tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring strict compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements applicable to explosive manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine chemical analyses and quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
· Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions in accordance with approved laboratory procedures.
· Record, compile, and maintain accurate test results and laboratory documentation.
· Assist in calibration, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
· Ensure adherence to explosives safety standards, laboratory SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
· Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions in the laboratory.
· Support senior chemists and production teams in troubleshooting quality-related issues.
Skills & Competencies:
· Sound knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques.
· Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
· Awareness of chemical and safety practices.
· Ability to work responsibly in a high-risk, regulated environment.
