Job Summary
Pak Mission Society (PMS), based in Islamabad, Pakistan, is seeking a skilled Oracle Apex Software Developer to customize and enhance its ERP system built on Oracle Apex. This full-time position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience and offers a competitive salary range of PKR 75,000 to 80,000. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, department heads, and staff to understand their operational needs, develop and test ERP modules, and ensure the system’s overall functionality, security, and data integrity. The primary focus areas include Financial Management, Project Management, Human Capital, and Procurement modules, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and optimizing data storage.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management, departmental leaders, and end users to gather detailed requirements for ERP system customization and improvements.
- Design algorithms and flowcharts to guide the development and enhancement of ERP software modules.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Oracle Apex and SQL, adhering to specified requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and deployment of new modules and smaller projects, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain the existing ERP system, incorporating feedback from staff to improve system performance and reliability.
- Continuously monitor user feedback and recommend enhancements to existing modules, supporting ongoing system optimization and user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least two years of hands-on experience developing software applications using Oracle Apex.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Apex and SQL programming languages.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, particularly in module design and ERP system development.
- In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms to write optimized SQL queries and manage data effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Additional certifications or diplomas in Oracle, SQL, or Oracle Apex are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to assess ERP system performance and design tailored solutions that meet user needs.
- Patience and perseverance to handle complex development challenges and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- High emotional intelligence to foster collaboration, manage conflicts constructively, and contribute positively to team dynamics.
