Job Summary
Mustafa Developers is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor & Planning Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. This role focuses on luxury residential villas and designer homes, playing a critical part in budgeting, scheduling, and execution control. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in quantity surveying and project planning, especially within the high-end residential construction sector.

Key Responsibilities
The Quantity Surveyor & Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), conducting rate analyses, and developing accurate cost estimates for villa construction projects. Monitoring material consumption and performing quantity reconciliation will be essential to maintain strict cost control. The role requires verifying contractor billing to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgets.

Developing and managing detailed project schedules using Primavera and MS Project software is a key part of this position. The candidate will track project progress closely, identify potential delays early, and propose effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule. Coordination with site teams, procurement departments, and subcontractors is crucial to ensure smooth project execution.

Throughout the project lifecycle, the Quantity Surveyor & Planning Engineer must ensure strict adherence to budget, timelines, and quality objectives. Maintaining comprehensive documentation related to cost and scheduling is necessary for accurate reporting and auditing purposes. Additionally, the role supports cash flow forecasting, resource planning, and prepares detailed reports for senior management review.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BE) in Civil Engineering. A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and project planning is required, with at least 3 years specifically in luxury residential villas or designer homes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Primavera, MS Project, and other quantity surveying tools is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction materials, cost control methodologies, and project planning techniques. Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills are necessary to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
