SlashNext Private limited Pakistan is looking to hire Senior Database Administrator with 7+ years’ experience in MySQL, Oracle, Postgresql Databases to work on some key large-scale projects.
. Must have following skills.
· Managing database security/integrity and backup procedures
· Writing reports, documentation and operating manuals
· Writing disaster recovery plans
· Archiving data.
· All aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migration, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
· DB support for development, deployment and maintenance for ongoing projects.
· Performance Tuning of the DB server and Optimization of Slow queries.
· Implementing high availability and scale-able solutions for databases.
· Responsible for database administration support for production, development, and test environments to include day-to-day monitoring and maintenance.
· Data analysis, modeling and normalization of databases.
· Managing Database of Large-scale time critical OLTP/ OLAP applications.
· Strong Replication, Group Replication etc skills.
· Strong shell/Perl scripting skills.
· Strong system administration skills.
· Have the ability to work under stress.
· Troubleshoot database related issues.
