Kaizen Paints is seeking a highly skilled Manager for Business Planning and Financial Analysis to support its financial strategy and operations. This role focuses on delivering in-depth financial planning, modeling, analysis, and reporting to drive informed decision-making and optimize business performance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in financial planning and analysis within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors, proven expertise in budgeting and forecasting, and capability in manufacturing costing and profitability analysis. This role requires an analytical mindset combined with commercial acumen and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring that financial insights align with strategic business objectives. The manager will play a key role in budgeting, working capital management, and CAPEX evaluation while leveraging advanced ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including complex formulas, Power Query, and macros. This position is well-suited for an experienced finance professional with approximately seven years of relevant experience, who holds a professional qualification such as CA, ACMA, ACCA, CFA, or an MBA in Finance. Though this role does not include team management responsibilities, it demands a strong ability to partner with various stakeholders and deliver actionable financial insights that enhance profitability and business growth.
Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
  • Lead detailed budgeting, annual operating plan (AOP) creation, and periodic financial forecasting to align with company targets and market conditions.
  • Conduct manufacturing costing, including variance analysis, to identify cost drivers and opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Perform product costing, Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis, and standard costing to ensure accurate pricing and profitability assessment.
  • Analyze margin and profitability across product lines and business units to support commercial and pricing decisions.
  • Manage working capital analysis and cash flow forecasting to optimize financial resources and liquidity.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects through rigorous Return on Investment (ROI) and financial viability analysis.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and business intelligence insights using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to facilitate timely and informed decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Support the implementation and optimal use of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 for data accuracy and financial reporting.
  • Analyze raw material costs and foreign exchange impacts to provide insights on cost fluctuations and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as a financial business partner to other departments, collaborating to align financial goals with operational objectives and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and internal controls in all financial analyses and reporting.
  • Communicate complex financial information effectively through presentations and reports tailored for diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes, tools, and methodologies for enhanced business performance and efficiency.
