Lead/Sr. IOS Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate iOS Developer with expertise in SwiftUI full-stack development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences and innovative mobile solutions that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain iOS applications using SwiftUI, Swift, and Objective-C. Demonstrate strong proficiency in SwiftUI development along with a deep understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Location. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to build intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Implement best coding practices to ensure applications are performant, reliable, and scalable. Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues to optimize app performance. Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to industry standards. Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Stay current with the latest iOS trends, technologies, and frameworks. Take full ownership of assigned tasks, working independently without reliance on a lead. Exhibit a proactive mindset by identifying and addressing technical challenges early. Utilize experience with Node.js development and familiarity with Jest and Mocha testing frameworks to support full-stack development efforts. Maintain access to a personal development machine to ensure productivity and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in iOS development, supported by a strong portfolio of published applications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C programming languages. Solid understanding of UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Location frameworks. Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON for backend integration. Familiarity with Git and version control systems. Strong knowledge of mobile design principles, patterns, and best practices. Clear understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines. Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with SwiftUI and the Combine framework is highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud enhances candidacy. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for mobile applications is a plus. Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred. Previous involvement in the App Store submission and release process is advantageous. Some exposure to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology will be considered an asset.
