Leavalley Sports is seeking a dedicated Store Manager with a strong background in inventory management and control, proficient in using Inventory Management Software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and ERP Software. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience, preferably with expertise in hosiery and sportswear products. This role focuses on maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely replenishment of inventory to meet customer demands. As a key contributor to Leavalley Sports, the Store Manager will play a vital role in supporting the efficient flow of goods without direct team management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day inventory operations, ensuring all stock is accurately recorded and maintained using advanced inventory management software.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to reduce stock discrepancies and improve overall inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage stock replenishment and resolve any supply chain issues promptly.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software to track inventory movement and optimize storage layouts within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular audits and stocktaking activities to verify inventory levels and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports to support purchasing decisions and forecast future stock requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of merchandise trends in hosiery and sportswear to anticipate and address inventory needs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in warehouse operations and storage areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery to customers.
- Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
