To perform cutting shapes in plate by programming, nesting, and feeding the data in CNC control machine. Maximum use of raw material by correct programming. Minimize the dress up, and grinding works by proper adjustment of machine & avoid material, manhour & time wastage
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To follow the cutting priority schedule.
- Arrangement of all material alignment on cutting bed at work place to perform cutting work.
- Alignment, leveling, positioning & profile checking to be done to ensure correct cutting,
- Oiling for all moving parts prior to cutting operation.
- Use of proper cutting nozzle according to thickness of the plate.
- Reporting to the Supervisor immediately if any breakdown of machine /Problem in performing cutting to avoid any hold up in work.
- Clean the machine and off all the gas ports after shift prior to leaving the work place.
- Transfer all identification marks on each item and off cuts for future reference.
- Ensure minimum scrap and maximum utilization of plate by using nesting program.
- Housekeeping at work places.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Technical
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience in CNC operated cutting machine etc.
- Knowledge in studying & understanding drawing/drawing dimensions.
- Knowledge of using measuring instruments,
Educational Qualifications
- Graduate/Technical Diploma holder.
Experience
- 3-5 years experience in CNC Operated machine.
