Job description:
Role and Responsibilities
· Provide operational support on day-to-day financial operations, accounting matters, payment issues etc.
· Review of key general ledgers to ensure transactions are recorded and classified in appropriate heads timely and accurately.
· Liaison with departments and internal audit for verification of payments.
· Preparation of various reports as required by HOD, management and head office.
· Oversee Monthly Closing Process
· Review Monthly Financial Statements and Management Dashboards.
· Review of Fixed Asset Register with regards to accuracy, completeness and appropriateness of categorization, depreciation etc.
· Review of Asset related schedules and recommendations for subsequent period adjustments
· Review of Provident Fund schedules and working
· Preparation of financial models for various analysis such as cost analysis, investment analysis, pricing, costing, forecasting, new business segments, new sites etc.
· Review Quarterly Financial Statements
· Finalize Statutory Financial Statements
· Liaison and conclude statutory external audit
· Liaison and data provisioning for Internal Audit
· Validate employee FSA calculations based on data shared by HR
· Calculation and disbursement of bonus
· Cash Flow forecasts for Fund Management
· Conduct periodic analysis on bank interest income and charges
· Prepare and maintain policies and SOP documents pertaining to finance department
· Update company data such as BOD, signatories etc. at all banks
· Coordinate with banks for fund placements, user accounts, cash collect & disbursement solutions, POS machines and dispute resolution
· Review of contracts for relevant finance / payment related clauses
