MENZIES-RAS Pvt Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager - Supply Chain to oversee and coordinate the complete supply chain activities, with a focus on uniform management. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring timely availability of materials, efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, vendor relationship management, and overall cost optimization. The position requires a strategic planner who can monitor supply risks, maintain optimal stock levels, and support process improvements while ensuring strict adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities and can prepare insightful reports and dashboards to drive data-driven decisions. Collaboration across multiple departments such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Administration is crucial for effective supply chain planning and management. Although this position does not include direct team management responsibilities, it demands close coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to maintain a streamlined supply chain operation and resolve any challenges proactively.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor supply plans based on operational and station requirements to ensure seamless availability of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with Stations, Procurement, Finance, Admin, and Operations teams to execute effective and efficient supply planning strategies.
  • Continuously monitor lead times and identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the supply chain to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid inventory shortages and excessive stock, ensuring accurate stock records and periodic physical verifications.
  • Monitor inventory consumption, replenishment needs, and inventory movements to maintain updated and precise inventory status.
  • Identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete inventory items and recommend corrective actions to optimize stock turnover and reduce holding costs.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution by managing material movement between Head Office, stations, and vendors, ensuring timely delivery while tracking shipment status.
  • Handle local transportation arrangements, oversee shipment tracking, and manage relevant delivery documentation to prevent delays and discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Procurement and vendors to ensure timely supply of goods and services, monitoring supplier performance against quality and timeline standards.
  • Maintain thorough vendor performance records, assist in vendor evaluations, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier reliability.
  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly Supply Chain Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards covering inventory, consumption, lead times, deliveries, and supplier metrics.
  • Analyze supply chain data to detect trends, identify operational gaps, recommend cost-saving opportunities, and highlight supply risks for management.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies focused on logistics expenses, inventory holding costs, and purchasing patterns to improve capital efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls while promoting best practices within the supply chain.
  • Review existing supply chain processes regularly and propose improvements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and response times.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure audit readiness and support ongoing digitalization and automation efforts within supply chain operations.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve supply issues swiftly and escalate critical concerns with proposed solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and deliver results under pressure.
  • Adopt a result-oriented mindset with clear ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
  • Accept and perform any additional duties assigned by the departmental head to support business objectives.
