We are looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our development team based in DHA-I, Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment alongside designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality, user-centric applications. The successful applicant will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment, ensuring that solutions are efficient, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code to uphold application quality.
- Create responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using React.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
- Manage and optimize MongoDB database structures for performance and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to integrate new features and improve usability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and development trends to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
- Knowledge of front-end tools and frameworks like Redux, Tailwind, and Bootstrap is preferred.
- Understanding of deployment processes on cloud platforms such as AWS, Render, or Vercel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in MERN stack development is advantageous.
