As a Junior Accountant at Midland Accountancy Solutions Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team with various accounting tasks and contributing to the financial stability of the organization.
- You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations.
- Help ensure compliance with HMRC (His Majesty's Revenue and Customs) regulations, including VAT (Value Added Tax) returns and payroll taxes.
- Assist in day-to-day accounting activities such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and posting journal entries.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. VT Transaction+) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is advantageous.
