Muwafaq is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Online Accountant to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role offers the flexibility to work from any location while contributing to the company’s financial accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for advanced education such as a master's degree. With a strong background in accounting principles and financial reporting, the accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Experience in bookkeeping, accounts reconciliation, and audit preparation are essential to succeed in this position. Working independently, the Online Accountant manages multiple financial processes including cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and general ledger oversight. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, enabling effective financial analysis and reporting under IFRS standards. This role requires excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills to deliver accurate financial insights and support forecasting and budgeting processes. While not responsible for managing a team, the accountant collaborates closely with management to provide essential financial data and recommendations that drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial records including ledgers and reports adhering to IFRS requirements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy of transactions.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies across all financial transactions.
Assist with audit preparation by compiling data, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
Support tax preparation processes by organizing financial documents and verifying tax-related computations.
Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to streamline bookkeeping processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
Provide timely and accurate financial insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
Maintain cash flow management practices to monitor liquidity and optimize fund utilization effectively.
Continuously review and improve financial procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
Communicate financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders without technical jargon.
