In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of of Digital Bankingbased at Karachi.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Unit Head Strategy Design (AVP / VP)

Reporting to:

Wing Head BI Data Governance and Analytics

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan

• Candidates having a Masters degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Information Systems / Information Technology or professional certifications in Data strategy Design / Data Science / Business Analysis or relatedcertifications will be preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 06 years of experience in Banking and / or Fintech and / or Capital Markets and / or Financial Institutions and / or Software House, including 03 years of experience in Digital Banking Strategy Design and / or Development and / or related fields

• Candidates having proven expertise in establishing strategic frameworks and aligning initiatives with organizational objectives would be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

• Proven track record in setting the direction for data and analytics initiatives that align with business goals and deliver measurable results

• Strong track record in strategic planning, driving cross-functional collaboration, and influencing decision-making at the leadership level

• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate across the organization, ensuring alignment and driving change from senior leadership to execution teams

• Deep understanding of data governance, architecture, and enterprise tools to design and implement scalable, organization-wide strategies

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To develop and implement an enterprise data strategy aligned with the Banks goals

• To oversee data models and architecture, ensuring consistency, scalability, and integrity

• To collaborate with business, IT, and analytics teams to create efficient data solutions

• To drive data quality, metadata, and master data initiatives to support reliable decision-making

• To lead cross-functional initiatives and governance committees to foster a data-driven culture

• To evaluate and implement tools and methodologies to enhance data design and analytics capabilities

• To manage vendor relationships to adopt emerging data management technologies

• To lead and mentor the Strategy & Design team, enhancing technical and strategic skills

• To define and track KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of data initiatives

• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed ondiscretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensationpackage and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
