We are looking for a seasoned professional with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our Hyderabad team. The role centers on resolving enterprise trouble tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), mentoring junior team members, and supporting platform migration and incident reduction initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducting root cause analyses, and collaborating with various teams to ensure timely incident and service request resolution. Strong technical expertise in networking, server management, storage, backup, cloud technologies, and monitoring tools is essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve enterprise trouble tickets within agreed SLAs and raise problem tickets for permanent solutions.
- Update SOPs with revised troubleshooting steps and process changes.
- Mentor new associates on customer infrastructure and operational processes.
- Analyze incidents to drive reduction efforts and escalate high-priority issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Plan and support platform migration activities to ensure smooth transitions.
- Provide inputs for root cause analysis after major incidents to define preventive and corrective measures.
- Execute change control tickets following documented implementation plans.
- Troubleshoot issues using available data and escalate unresolved tickets appropriately.
- Manage ticket backlogs and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Install and configure tools, software, and patches as required.
- Update knowledge base articles with new insights and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and coordinate with ISMS teams on connectivity issues.
- Lead customer and vendor calls, organize stakeholder meetings, and manage internal communications.
- Define strategies for data management, policy enforcement, and data retention.
- Recommend process improvements and support continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate IT process implementation and assist with audit preparations.
- Provide on-floor training and one-on-one mentorship to new joiners.
- Track performance goals, provide feedback, and help team members understand the customer environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing, provisioning, and implementing network and firewall technologies in large, global environments.
- Strong expertise with Checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls.
- Solid understanding of HTTP protocol, SSL/TLS, and PKI.
- Hands-on experience with networking equipment, management tools, and network analyzers.
- Proficiency in Layer 3 technologies including IPv4, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PIM, HSRP, DMVPN, NHRP, and GETVPN.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 technologies such as Spanning-Tree, VLANs, QinQ, and Dot1q.
- Operational experience with load-balancing platforms like Citrix Netscaler and F5.
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and APIs.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in server technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, patch management, and high availability solutions.
- Experience with storage and backup technologies, including hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation.
- Skilled in administration and configuration of monitoring tools such as CA UIM, SCOM, Solarwinds, Nagios, and ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like SQL, PowerShell, BASH, or Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
