New Vision Engineering Consultant seeks an experienced Systems / Software Evaluation Expert to lead the analysis and evaluation of software applications and enterprise systems. This role involves thorough requirements analysis, comprehensive software testing, quality assurance, performance evaluation, and risk assessment to ensure the delivery of reliable and effective digital solutions. The expert will work closely with stakeholders to understand system objectives and verify that software products meet high standards for performance, integration, and usability. This position requires a deep technical background in software development and system analysis alongside strong evaluation skills.
The expert will manage a small team of three professionals, coordinating their efforts in system integration testing, risk management, and documentation. They will guide the team through structured evaluation processes using UML and other analysis techniques to align software capabilities with business needs. This role demands a leadership mindset to ensure accurate assessments, identify improvement opportunities, and maintain rigorous quality controls over software lifecycle activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed requirements analysis and translate business needs into evaluation criteria for software applications and enterprise systems.
- Plan and execute comprehensive software testing and quality assurance activities to validate system functionality, security, and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluation and risk assessment to identify potential issues and ensure systems operate efficiently under all conditions.
- Manage and oversee system integration testing to verify seamless operation among multiple software components and platforms.
- Utilize UML (Unified Modeling Language) for clear visual documentation of system designs, processes, and evaluation workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather feedback and adjust evaluation approaches accordingly.
- Coordinate and mentor the evaluation team of three professionals, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Develop detailed reports and presentations on software quality, evaluation findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, tools, and methodologies related to software testing, systems evaluation, and quality assurance.
- Implement best practices in software evaluation to optimize accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organizational goals.
- Monitor emerging risks associated with new software releases and recommend mitigation strategies promptly.
- Drive improvements in evaluation processes by integrating new tools and techniques focused on enhancing software reliability and usability.
