This role involves creating comprehensive electrical layouts, equipment layouts, cable containment drawings, and installation details. The engineer performs thorough clash detection and coordination primarily using Navisworks, integrating engineering markups, redlines, and ongoing design changes into BIM models and technical drawings. Responsibilities also include producing and updating as-built BIM models and drawings, maintaining strict revision control, and ensuring documentation accuracy. Collaboration with multiple disciplines is essential to ensure smooth project delivery, and the candidate will support project engineers with technical office tasks and documentation management. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it requires strong independent project handling skills and effective communication across engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed electrical and MEP BIM models in Revit according to project requirements.
Produce high-quality technical drawings utilizing AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD Electrical software.
Prepare comprehensive shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction documentation that adhere to industry standards.
Create precise electrical layouts, equipment layouts, and cable containment drawings.
Prepare sections, detailed views, schedules, and installation drawings required for successful project execution.
Coordinate electrical and MEP services with architectural and structural models to ensure seamless integration and design accuracy.
Conduct clash detection and coordination throughout project phases using Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts.
Identify and provide solutions for coordination and constructability issues to prevent project delays.
Incorporate engineering markups, redlines, and design changes promptly to keep BIM models and drawings up to date.
Generate and update as-built drawings and BIM models to reflect completed works accurately.
Maintain high standards of drawing accuracy, rigorous revision control, and thorough documentation quality throughout project lifecycle.
Assist with BIM coordination meetings and contribute to model review sessions to improve project outcomes.
Support project engineers by providing technical office assistance and managing documentation to meet project deadlines and requirements.
