Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily transactional vouchers accurately and process them after securing proper approvals.
  • Enter financial data into the accounting system promptly to maintain updated financial records.
  • Assist in preparing tax documents and contribute to the preparation of the organisation's balance sheet.
  • Support the Finance & Compliance Manager in compiling monthly financial reports detailing income, expenditure, and budget status.
  • Create and assist with cost analysis reports to support other departments in budgeting and financial planning.
  • Track accounts payable and accounts receivable ensuring timely processing and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain well-organised and comprehensive financial documentation to support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, contributing to a transparent financial environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to gather financial information required for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Contribute to audit preparations by organising and providing necessary documentation and supporting materials.
  • Assist in monitoring budget expenditures to ensure adherence to allocated budgets and flag variances as needed.
