Responsibilities
Develop innovative menus that reflect the tastes and preferences of the Gulf and UAE clientele while ensuring a diverse and appealing selection. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and quality checks, to maintain the highest culinary standards. Manage inventory and procurement processes to optimize costs and ensure the availability of fresh ingredients while minimizing waste. Train, mentor, and supervise a team of 25 culinary staff members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Enforce all health and safety regulations to maintain cleanliness and compliance with legal requirements. Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to plan catering events, banquets, and special promotions. Monitor food trends and market demands to keep offerings competitive and relevant. Prepare budgets, control labor costs, and analyze operational performance to improve profitability. Resolve any kitchen-related challenges promptly to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
