Nokhba is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its dynamic team and contribute to building and maintaining scalable infrastructure that supports our rapidly growing technical environment. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of five years of experience, including at least two years focused on cloud engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps practices. This role centers around managing Linux-based servers, implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to optimize our deployment processes and ensure high availability and security. As a DevOps Engineer at Nokhba, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver efficient infrastructure solutions while automating manual steps wherever possible. You will independently handle server administration tasks and apply your strong understanding of Docker, containerized applications, networking, and security to maintain system integrity and performance. Your role requires troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining monitoring and logging systems, and documenting procedures clearly to facilitate team knowledge sharing. This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively within the organization.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure As Code principles.
Administer and maintain Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security, and performance.
Configure, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application delivery workflows.
Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and optimize resource utilization.
Implement containerized applications with Docker and manage container orchestration best practices.
Utilize Git and GitHub frameworks to streamline version control and deployment processes.
Ensure network configurations including DNS, SSL, and firewall settings meet security and operational standards.
Monitor system performance and availability using appropriate monitoring and logging tools.
Backup critical systems and data, ensuring quick recovery mechanisms and business continuity.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
Document systems, procedures, and changes systematically to maintain high transparency and ease of knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
