Oliotech Oilfield Services seeks an experienced Boiler Operation Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of industrial boilers. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience and holds a first or second class certification. This role focuses on managing a 6 tons per hour (tph) crude oil-operated boiler with a surface area of 1600 square feet. The engineer ensures optimal boiler performance by adhering to strict safety standards, performing routine preventive maintenance, and implementing energy efficiency measures. The role requires a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and industrial safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. The Boiler Operation Engineer plays a critical role in the thermal power generation process by efficiently managing steam systems and mitigating operational risks. The engineer is responsible for conducting risk assessments, implementing hazard and operability studies, and applying process safety management to prevent incidents and ensure continuous and reliable boiler operation. Although the role does not involve team management, it requires coordinating with other technical personnel and adhering to a rigorous industrial safety management system to support the company’s commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor a 6 tph crude oil-operated boiler with a surface area of 1600 sq. ft., ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Must be class  1 or 2 certified.
  • Conduct regular maintenance activities focused on boiler operation and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, industrial safety protocols, and regulatory requirements related to boiler operation.
  • Manage thermal power generation processes by controlling steam production and optimizing energy efficiency for cost-effective operation.
  • Perform hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety and operational risks.
  • Implement and maintain process safety management systems to prevent accidents and improve overall plant safety performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for boiler operation, maintenance schedules, safety inspections, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to troubleshoot boiler performance issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Ensure proper adherence to industrial safety management systems and participate in safety audits and training programs.
  • Monitor boiler instrumentation and control systems to ensure stable and reliable operation under various load conditions.
  • Analyze boiler efficiency and recommend improvements to reduce fuel consumption and environmental impact.
  • Support company initiatives for continuous improvement in boiler operation techniques and safety standards.
