A & K Builders is a growing construction company. We are hiring an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join our design and technical team at our Head Office.

Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter

Location: Head Office, F-10 Markaz, Islamabad

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Create architectural, structural, and construction drawings using AutoCAD software, focusing on precision and clarity.
Translate rough sketches and engineer's instructions into detailed and accurate drawings suitable for construction purposes.
Perform revisions and updates to drawings as project designs evolve and requirements change.
Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings to facilitate all phases of construction.
Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and industry best practices.
Coordinate actively with engineers, architects, and site teams to clarify and resolve drawing details.
Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and records to ensure easy retrieval and version control.
Study and interpret construction drawings to ensure accuracy and support project workflow.
Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Communicate clearly within the team to support project progress and foster a cooperative environment.

Skills

Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil / Architecture or a related field Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter Strong command of AutoCAD (2D required, 3D is a plus) Ability to read and understand construction drawings Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks Good communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of Revit Knowledge of SketchUp Experience in the construction or real estate industry
