Painter Marketing Pros is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to enhance the online visibility and search engine rankings of our clients' websites and Google business profiles. The specialist will focus on optimizing local SEO initiatives to improve search rankings for small and medium local businesses, ensuring they effectively reach their target audience in specific geographic areas. This role requires applying comprehensive keyword research, on-page optimization techniques, and competitive analysis to increase organic traffic and improve search engine performance. The SEO Specialist collaborates closely with the marketing team and external partners to implement link-building strategies, conduct detailed SEO audits, and monitor website performance with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of hands-on SEO experience, specializing in local SEO, and demonstrates a strong understanding of evolving search engine algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant search terms that generate high local search traffic.
- Optimize website content and structure to improve on-page SEO elements including meta tags, headings, images, and URL structures.
- Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to increase domain authority and improve search rankings.
- Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits to diagnose and resolve site performance issues affecting search visibility.
- Use SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics to monitor website performance and track SEO metrics.
- Analyze competitors’ websites and SEO strategies to identify opportunities for improvements and differentiation.
- Focus on local SEO tactics including optimizing Google Business Profiles to enhance visibility in local search results.
- Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website updates and new content.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, algorithm changes, and search engine updates to maintain effective SEO strategies.
- Generate detailed reports on SEO performance and insights to communicate progress and results to stakeholders.
