Pak Match Factory is actively seeking a skilled Account Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Peshawar. The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience and a strong background in commerce, ideally holding a B.Com or M.Com degree. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, honest, and proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. The Account Officer will manage a team of five people to ensure accurate financial records, tax filing, and bank reconciliation processes are performed efficiently and effectively.
This role demands excellent customer relationship management, credit evaluation capabilities, and the ability to prepare comprehensive reports. Candidates must leverage their expertise in data analytics and reporting tools such as Excel and Tableau to contribute to strategic financial planning. The position plays a pivotal role in client interaction management and customer segmentation to support the companys financial goals and regulatory compliance. The Account Officer's leadership will drive both the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including bank reconciliation, tax filing, and ledger maintenance to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Supervise and lead a team of five accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support to meet departmental goals.
- Evaluate credit proposals and customer accounts to assess financial risk and support company credit policies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and statements, using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau to analyze data and present actionable insights.
- Maintain and enhance customer relationship management by effectively communicating with clients and managing client accounts.
- Perform customer segmentation and client interaction management to tailor financial services and support business development objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to support audits, compliance requirements, and overall financial health of the company.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and implement best practices to increase efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze financial information to forecast budgeting needs and support strategic planning initiatives.
