Assistant Manager Accounts

This role requires a proactive individual with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience, or enthusiastic fresh graduates with a strong academic background in accounting and finance. As a leader managing a team of one, the Assistant Manager Accounts is responsible for mentoring and supporting their team member to enhance overall performance and knowledge. The position demands strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Residency in Gujranwala is preferred to facilitate close interaction with the companys operations and enhance coordination within the finance department.
Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and GAAP standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage the general ledger and oversee all accounting transactions to maintain accurate and complete records.
Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to verify financial data integrity.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts to support business planning and financial objectives.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate tax filings in collaboration with relevant authorities.
Lead and manage a team member by providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to optimize departmental productivity.
Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits to facilitate the audit process and provide necessary documentation.
Support the finance management team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
