Credit Review Officer

Palmpay Pvt Ltd is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Review Officer to join our team. This role focuses on thoroughly assessing credit risk and ensuring accurate evaluation of loan applications. The Credit Review Officer will play a pivotal role in analyzing customer data, performing credit risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards including Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in credit review or customer service roles and demonstrates proficiency in credit risk modeling and data analysis. This role does not involve managing a team but requires effective collaboration with various departments to ensure timely and accurate credit assessments. A strong commitment to customer due diligence and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in credit processes are essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments to evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applicants.
Analyze financial documents and customer information to identify potential risks and ensure data accuracy.
Implement and maintain credit risk models to support informed decision making.
Perform customer due diligence in compliance with KYC regulations to mitigate fraud and financial crimes.
Prepare detailed reports on credit review findings and present them to management for further action.
Collaborate with customer service and other internal teams to gather relevant information and resolve credit-related issues.
Make decisions regarding credit approval or rejection based on analysis and organizational policies.
Monitor existing credit accounts to detect signs of financial distress or noncompliance with loan agreements.
Assist in the continuous improvement of credit review policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal controls related to credit risk management.
