In September 2019, I joined Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation for their ME4PS project operational in KP and NMDs in consortium with ACTED. I am responsible for assessing the project interventions and identifying systemic theory of change, learnings and studies to derive project impacts and mainstreaming policy input and to improve public-private partnerships through new strategies, interventions, innovative approaches and technical support. To build and sustain effective close working partnerships with government counterparts, national, provincial and district level stakeholders as well as allies, donors and academia. This profile also includes promoting critical thinking, innovative approaches and contributing to develop policies and procedures to ensure optimum efficiency and efficacy of sustainable development.
 
Key Achievements
·  Introduced and managing an apprenticeship model named Taroon for the unemployed educated youth resulting in job placement and improved decent work agenda.
·  Successfully developed partnerships with KPITB, NIC, IT Association of KP and Marble Association.
·  In the process of developing a successful App for KP-TEVTA to strengthen linkages with different stakeholders and improved market reach.
·  Successfully developed improved market approaches for different value chains in partnership with the government departments and supported a value-added return on investment analysis for the interventions.

In 2018, I was a recipient of the Atlas Corps Fellowship by the US State Department. Through this fellowship, I was placed with the Halcyon Incubator and their International Policy Development as my host organization. In my role, I was responsible for research, learning content development and launching new programs to engage social entrepreneurs from around the world encompassing the Social Enterprise Ecosystems Report 2019-2020.
 
Key Achievements

 

·  Brought in a pipeline $500,000 from Taibah University-KSA, Korean Innovation Center-Korea, Togolese Republic and EL Space-Tunisia.
·  Developed Halcyon’s Methodology for licensing and a dashboard to analyze market trends for business development in new thematic areas including social inclusion, social impact, health solutions, FinTech, and gender equality.
·  Developed Social Enterprise Ecosystem Report 2018-2019-2020 to measure ecosystems around the US.
·  Managed the monitoring and reporting of the progress of the program and indicators, and contribute to processes to measure, learn from and improve impact and operations.
·  Successfully leveraged partnership with US State Department’s GIST Network, Queen Rania’s Center of Entrepreneurship, King Abdullah Fund, French Ministry of Social Solidarity & Social Innovation.

I was working with WFP as a Project Coordinator in close partnership with a variety of federal and provincial government departments, as well as sister agencies to ensure the improvement of food security and nutrition among displaced and returnee populations in KP/FATA region in Pakistan to reinforce the resilience of communities living in the most hazard-prone areas and to address malnutrition among the most vulnerable segments of the society, particularly pregnant and nursing women and children under the age of five; and support an environment for women to achieve social and economic equality.
 
Key Achievements

 

·  Provided leadership, facilitation, coordination and technical assistance on social protection to federal and provincial Government, private sector, UN agencies, donors and other relevant stakeholders to alleviate poverty in the KP/FATA region.
·  Led the analysis, advocacy and documentation of the Food for Education program and its impacts and results on socio-economic, nutrition and education outcomes;
·  Led the completion of all reporting obligations and identified lessons learnt and best practices established for use in scaling up of cash and food program interventions;
·  Coordinated and liaised with relevant stakeholders including government, donors, national and international   NGOs/networks, and academia for knowledge sharing of evidence-based good practices and strengthen networking across relevant social protection stakeholders;
