Planet System is seeking a skilled Laravel PHP Developer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep expertise in PHP development, specifically with the Laravel framework, and possesses strong capabilities in database management, RESTful API development, and unit testing. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining our server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications. The developer will work closely with front-end developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable web solutions. This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent individual contribution skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. The candidate must be adept at version control using Git and proficient in MySQL database operations, including schema migrations. A thorough understanding of best practices in API design and testing is essential. The developer will be responsible for ensuring clean, well-structured code and maintaining the integrity of our applications backend architecture.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel PHP framework following coding best practices.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and integration with third-party services.
Manage and optimize MySQL databases, including writing complex queries and performing database migrations.
Write unit tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of the code base, implementing test-driven development where applicable.
Utilize Git version control to manage code repositories and coordinate with other developers on code updates and merges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, providing timely bug fixes and enhancements.
Maintain documentation related to system architecture, APIs, and deployment procedures.
Ensure applications meet security and data protection standards.
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.
