PNY Trainings seeks an experienced QuickBooks and Advanced Excel Instructor to deliver practical, hands-on training for students aiming to master accounting and data analysis skills. This role involves teaching both beginner and advanced concepts of QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel, emphasizing clarity and practical application. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial background combined with teaching experience, and the ability to present complex information in a simple and engaging manner to enhance student learning outcomes. The instructor is responsible for managing classroom environments, delivering well-structured lessons aligned with industry standards, and providing individual support to foster student growth. The role requires thorough expertise in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, from foundational bookkeeping to advanced Excel formulas, data management, and automation with Macros. The instructor will play a vital role in helping students develop career-relevant skills in accounting, finance, and data-related fields, ensuring they are job-ready upon course completion.
Responsibilities

Adhere strictly to the course outlines provided by PNY Trainings and ensure timely completion of all topics.
Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on QuickBooks Desktop and Advanced Microsoft Excel to students.
Teach QuickBooks Desktop comprehensively, including setup, invoicing, payments, inventory management, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliation, report generation, user roles, and file management.
Instruct students on Microsoft Excel fundamentals, intermediate functions, and advanced features, incorporating formulas such as IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, AVERAGEIF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH.
Conduct practical exercises in data management techniques including sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, chart creation, PivotTables, dashboards, and advanced data analysis.
Explain and demonstrate Excel automation using Macros and advanced tools to enhance data processing efficiency.
Provide real-world examples and hands-on exercises to reinforce theoretical concepts learned in both QuickBooks and Excel.
Guide students in solving practical problems related to accounting, bookkeeping, reporting, and Excel functions.
Evaluate students progress through practical tasks, exercises, and classroom participation, offering constructive feedback for improvement.
Maintain updated course content that reflects current industry practices and job market requirements for accounting and data roles.
Foster a professional, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment that encourages active participation and effective learning.
Offer individual support to students, including mentoring and follow-up sessions to address learning gaps and strengthen practical skills.
Support students in developing competencies suitable for careers in accounting, finance, administration, and data analysis.
