The Sanco Oven Operator works in shifts covering 12-hour rotations between morning and night, managing oven operations without direct team supervision. The role involves technical vigilance to detect and report equipment issues promptly, while ensuring an overall safe and compliant workplace in line with Good Manufacturing Practices. Responsibilities
- Operate and carefully monitor Sanco ovens to produce cakes and biscuits in line with production schedules.
- Maintain precise baking temperatures and times to ensure consistent product quality and optimal yield.
- Inspect products regularly to ensure they meet quality standards and promptly take corrective actions if deviations occur.
- Monitor oven performance continuously and report any technical malfunctions or equipment breakdowns to the maintenance team.
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) during all stages of production.
- Keep detailed production records, including batch details, oven settings, and output quantities for quality tracking.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of ovens and surrounding equipment to uphold workplace health and safety standards.
- Follow assigned shift schedules diligently, working 12-hour shifts that include overtime, alternating between morning and night shifts as required.
- Minimize product wastage by optimizing oven operation and promptly addressing potential causes of defects or inconsistencies.
