Professional Employers (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Protection Associate to join their Protection Unit based in Islamabad, Pakistan. This role is integral to supporting protection monitoring and analysis activities related to migration and humanitarian protection efforts. The Senior Protection Associate will coordinate, implement, and oversee protection monitoring activities, ensuring data accuracy and quality while collaborating closely with field teams and partners. This position requires a professional with a strong background in risk assessment, emergency response, and security protocols, possessing excellent research and data analysis skills to help safeguard vulnerable migrant populations. The Senior Protection Associate will manage a team of 10 persons, providing leadership and guidance to ensure that protection activities meet organizational standards and donor requirements. This position demands effective coordination, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement to enhance protection monitoring and response. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and have experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection methods within humanitarian contexts. Fluency in English and Urdu is required, with working knowledge of Pashto and Dari considered an asset.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the planning, implementation, and monitoring of protection monitoring activities nationwide, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and protection principles.

Review and endorse risk assessments related to data collection, ensuring the safety and security of staff and beneficiaries.

Lead verification processes for the quality and accuracy of data entered into protection monitoring tools, adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures and relevant guidance.

Perform regular data cleaning, organization, and conduct comprehensive quarterly analysis of quantitative data to inform protection strategies.

Compile, summarize, and analyze protection-related information and data collected from various regions to support evidence-based decision-making.

Direct coordination of data collection activities with project assistants and implementing partners, reviewing workplans and progress reports to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Conduct monitoring visits across different locations in Pakistan to support Protection Assistants overseeing provincial activities and ensure compliance with protection standards.

Develop and update capacity-building materials focusing on data collection methodologies, ethics, protection mainstreaming, and the use of digital tools such as Kobo.

Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops for internal teams and partners on protection data collection techniques and principles.

Provide logistical and administrative support to protection activities, including organizing meetings and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of protection risks, community dynamics, and displacement trends by tracking policies and compiling biweekly context updates.

Contribute to the development and refinement of data collection tools, capacity-building materials, and Standard Operating Procedures to enhance protection monitoring.

Promote adherence to data protection principles and confidentiality to maintain the safety and dignity of vulnerable populations.

Manage a team of 10 persons, providing guidance, motivation, and oversight to ensure effective team performance and goal achievement.

Foster collaboration across multicultural environments, supporting a respectful and inclusive workplace.

Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall mission and objectives of the Protection Unit.
