Professional Photographer / Visual Documentation Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced photographer with a background in capturing high-quality images related to development projects, enterprises, industrial activities, or field assignments. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and technical expertise in photography, including before-and-after documentation, action-based technical-assistance photography, and the ability to produce high-resolution images with excellent composition, lighting, and framing. This role requires proficiency in basic photo editing, captioning, metadata management, and ensuring proper visibility of personal protective equipment (PPE) and project branding when applicable. The photographer will work closely with technical experts and entrepreneurs, often traveling across various districts, and must be able to communicate effectively in Urdu, with Sindhi language skills considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Capture professional photographs documenting development projects, enterprises, and industrial activities, focusing on technical assistance and fieldwork.
- Produce before-and-after images to highlight project progress and impact.
- Ensure all photographs meet high standards of composition, lighting, framing, and resolution.
- Edit images for clarity and quality, including adding captions and managing metadata.
- Maintain visibility of PPE and project branding in all relevant photographs.
- Collaborate with technical experts to support documentation of enterprise diagnostics, action plans, and capacity-building activities.
- Travel regularly to project sites across Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Tharparkar, and Larkana districts.
- Communicate effectively with entrepreneurs and project stakeholders, primarily in Urdu, with Sindhi language skills preferred.
- Assist in documenting and reporting project activities through visual media.

Required Qualifications

- Degree, diploma, or professional training in Photography, Media, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. Candidates with a strong professional portfolio may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Minimum of three years of professional photography experience, preferably in development projects, enterprises, industrial settings, or field assignments.
- Proven expertise in technical photography, including before-and-after documentation, action-based photography, and high-resolution image capture.
- Competence in basic photo editing, captioning, and metadata management.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the specified districts.
- Proficiency in Urdu for effective communication with entrepreneurs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
