The ICCM Program & Data Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation, coordination, monitoring, data management, and reporting of Integrated Community Case Management (ICCM) activities at the district level. Working under the technical guidance of the Manager Programs & Communication and in collaboration with the Provincial Team, this position ensures effective service delivery, data quality, and stakeholder coordination to strengthen ICCM programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support district-level implementation, coordination, and monitoring of ICCM activities, including program expansion and service delivery enhancement.
- Coordinate with government departments, Lady Health Supervisors/Family Planners (LHS/FPs), Community Health Workers (CHWs), reporting health facilities, district teams, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations.
- Assist in planning and organizing Monthly Review Meetings (MRMs), District Review Meetings (DRMs), Joint Monitoring Visits (JMVs), trainings, workshops, and other program-related activities.
- Support CHW mapping, deployment, training, orientation, follow-up, and maintain accurate records related to these activities.
- Collect, compile, enter, maintain, and manage ICCM data using approved tools and reporting systems, including DHIS2.
- Compile and review monthly reports submitted by CHWs and reporting health facilities, ensuring timely submission to the Provincial Team.
- Analyze program data, track key indicators, prepare regular reports, and provide data insights to support program planning and decision-making.
- Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, including FM1/FM2 registers, referral slips, and other source documents.
- Conduct data validation exercises, spot checks, and supportive supervisory visits to enhance reporting quality and compliance.
- Verify reported commodity utilization, such as Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs), against stock records and reported service delivery figures.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records of program activities, training, monitoring, and reporting documentation.
- Support the preparation of work plans, budgets, progress reports, budget-versus-expenditure statements, and other essential program documentation.
- Assist in preparing correspondence, meeting minutes, presentations, success stories, and logistical arrangements for program activities.
- Provide orientation and technical support to relevant staff on data collection, reporting procedures, and data quality standards, ensuring compliance with program, donor, and government requirements.
- Share regular updates on program progress, data gaps, and challenges with the supervisor and Provincial Team.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support program objectives.

- Proven experience in program implementation, coordination, and data management, preferably within health or community-based programs.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting, with familiarity in using DHIS2 or similar health information systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including government entities, health workers, and partner organizations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills to provide technical support and training to staff.
- Competence in verifying data quality and conducting supervisory visits to ensure compliance with program standards.
