Terms of Reference (TOR) – Tech Trainers (EdTech Implementation & Training Support)

The Tech Trainer EdTech at Recruit AI plays a vital role in empowering educators and administrators by delivering effective training and support for digital learning platforms. Positioned within the EdTech Department and reporting to the Tech Lead EdTech, this role focuses on enhancing the adoption and efficient use of innovative educational technologies across schools and learning centers globally. The trainer facilitates the development of knowledge and skills necessary for seamless integration of EdTech tools, ensuring stakeholders can confidently utilize these resources to improve teaching outcomes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills as it involves conducting training programs, evaluating EdTech solutions, providing first-line technical support, and collaborating with academic and technical teams. With a focus on monitoring the impact of training initiatives through data collection and analysis, the Tech Trainer supports continuous improvement efforts aimed at scaling technology adoption in educational environments. While the position does not include team management responsibilities, it demands close coordination with various stakeholders and vendors to achieve strategic educational goals.
Responsibilities

Conduct structured and engaging training sessions for teachers, school administrators, and implementation teams on the diverse range of digital learning platforms and applications.
Design and develop comprehensive training materials including user guides, video tutorials, and hands-on workshop content to facilitate both in-person and remote learning.
Provide ongoing post-training support to ensure end users develop proficiency and confidence in leveraging EdTech tools effectively.
Evaluate new and existing EdTech platforms by performing usability tests and assessing tool effectiveness and scalability to meet educational needs.
Gather and analyze user feedback on platform accessibility, customization possibilities, and suitability to different school environments and curricula.
Implement feedback mechanisms to monitor training effectiveness and platform engagement, collecting data to generate actionable insights for continuous program enhancements.
Offer first-line technical assistance by troubleshooting common software issues, platform accessibility problems, and user queries to minimize disruption during EdTech use.
Escalate complex technical challenges to the appropriate technical leadership or IT support teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Collaborate closely with school leadership, academic coordinators, IT personnel, and EdTech vendors to synchronize training delivery and technology deployment activities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EdTech product features and industry trends by engaging regularly with product teams and participating in relevant forums.
Coordinate communication amongst diverse stakeholders to promote smooth implementation and widespread adoption of digital learning solutions.
Collect, compile, and report training impact data and user engagement metrics regularly to inform strategy adjustments and enhancement initiatives.
Identify barriers to effective utilization of digital platforms by educators and students, and recommend practical solutions to overcome these challenges.
